Job Description: Media communications
Media analysis & reporting: Synthesize relevant competitor / industry news & blogs / online forums, and give a quick overview of news highlights for the day, keeping management abreast of relevant news for their interactions with internal / external stakeholders. Generate reports on media activities to management and the Board.
Web content management:
o Gatekeeper of Maybank2u website content
o Review and edit content as it gets updated to improve customer experience
o Keep stakeholders abreast of Maybank news by updating content in corporate pages
Gatekeeping Facebook content: Work in an inter-department team to management Bank’s Facebook page.
Twitter management: Generate content for periodic tweets for Bank’s Twitter page to garner followers
As project and event I/C, to manage work flow of inter-department project team set up for major corporate events. Able to manage event end-to-end, including relationships with external vendors.
degree in communications, journalism or related study 3 – 4 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in corporate communications or journalism Excellent command of English, written and spoken Project management skills and attention to details
